As Christians we are commanded to “Go out into all the world…”; this includes our town, the surrounding area and to the whole world. As a church we support various organisations to help achieve this goal.

Locally we work with other churches in the town organise the annual Fun Day on the green at Woodley when local residents enjoy a diet of free food, inflatables and games. Last year a football cage, free Zumba and interactive balloon sculpting proved excellent new additions to the festivities. People still recovering from the idea of free barbecue food are equally surprised by the generosity of Romsey’s Christians. The wonderful atmosphere means people glimpse a taste of the kingdom of heaven!

Since 1998 the church’s music group has played in the Town’s Beggars Fair, usually in warm sunshine on the church forecourt. In recent years the church has laid on other attractions such as cakes, face painting, etc.

The church also regularly supports the ‘Church Tent’ at Romsey Show and the Romsey Food Bank, as well as responding to other needs as they arise at home and overseas.

One of our major mission activities is our work with a Compassion UK project in Haiti – see our Compassion page for more information.

We also support the work of BMS World Mission: please see their live feed below.
