Churches Together in Romsey

The churches in Romsey work together as Churches Together in Romsey.

Each year in the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity there are joint prayer meetings and a united Sunday evening service. The churches organise united meetings or house groups during Lent and an Act of Witness in the town centre on Good Friday. At Christmas a greetings card with details of all Christmas services is delivered to all homes in the town.

Many members of the churches are involved with Oasis, an interdenominational Trust which opened in 1984. The Oasis Christian Centre shop in Church Street sells books, CDs, greeting cards, Fair Trade good and Scout & Guide uniforms. The shop building dates back to Tudor times, with the deeds dated 1642.
